And so has begun...

...my final week in the North. I must say, this past year has FLOWN by. I have two more shifts at work, followed by about 9 days off to enjoy Manchester / see my friends one last time. I am heartbroken I have to leave but needs must! I have bigger future fish to fry (woah, tongue twister!) Sunday night I had a meal with my 5 closest work friends (I wrote them all a little farewell card - there wasn't a dry eye in the house) and we went to La Tasca for tapas. It was such a lovely evening and we all had such a laugh but it was bitter-sweet because it would be the last time we'd all be together.

They got me an amazing present as well, I was so touched they had something especially made - they even made the label to go inside which says 'A genuine House of Fraser product. Price = priceless.'

I've got another leaving party tomorrow night with all my other work friends - a few drinks at a bar near work - so I'll be sure to take loads of pictures. I took a couple Sunday night but I am dire need of applying my fake tan because I look terminally ill next to all my little bronzed work buddies! (You can see why this blog is named 'Confessions of a Milky Lady.' Going to do it tonight (as well as my nails which are also looking pretty grim) so I'm all tanned and ready to celebrate tomorrow night!

Anyway I think that's all my news. I had a wonderful weekend off with the boy - but that's another story.

I saw a t-shirt in men's department in either top shop or river island yesterday that said REEM. I asked Cal and Cindy what it meant and neither of them knew. Please put me out of my misery as I cannot fathom out whatever it is. I have heard you joking about with that word but I still have no idea.

BTW Dad and I both think you look a bit like a Japanese Geisha girl in the picture as your skin soooo white!!!
