Well it only took me 13 months but I finally got back on! After much internet research and a few phone calls with the owners I have found a perfect riding school with lots of lovely, suitable, gentle horses to ease me back into riding and getting my confidence back. This is the lovely Penny, I was a bit nervous at first because she is HUGE and it was a long way down from where I was sitting, but she was very slow and placid (just what I needed.) Its always better to have a slow horse you can push on than a fast horse you can't slow down (I've learnt that the hard way, ha!) However now I've been assessed and got a bit of my confidence back, I've been assigned 'Mally' as my next horse in 2 weeks time. I can't wait!
