It's my birthday tomorrow!!

...and I've heard a sneaky rumour I've got pug and owl cupcakes! Will post pictures as soon as I can take some. Sadly I'm at work tomorrow all day but I've got a skype date with my love in the evening followed by cake and champagne and watching a nice film with my family. Then day off Friday (plus it's payday) so I think I'll treat myself to an extra special manicure and maybe something from Topshop! My lovely friend Sam cut my fringe last night as well and foiled my hair for me so my hair is looking super blonde and birthday-girl-tastic! And on top of that I've got my new Topshop dress to wear to work tomorrow so alls well! :) My birthday last year was pretty fun, let's hope this year will be even better!

Helicopter Heroes

Well, it's finally been aired, followers! As you well know, I was in a riding accident last year which required the help of the air ambulance. The air ambulance and its paramedics do a fantastic job of rescuing people and saving lives so I'd just like to take an opportunity to promote them and this amazing programme. I will admit I wasn't looking forward to watching it and I did get a bit upset seeing it all again (because it actually happened in August 2010) so was a bit distressing having to sort of relive it. Anyway, you can watch it HERE. I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who looked after me, particularly my friend Laura (who has a mini interview somewhere in there) and all of the amazing paramedic team. (That's me lying on the floor down there in case you hadn't already noticed.)

Sunday Funday

Well after spending 3 hours in hospital this morning (don't ask) I have taken to doing research for NYC all aftenoon! I THINK I've found the hotel. Been doing some budgeting and figuring out how much I can save a month. It's so exciting, we're going at the BEST time of year as well. I've also compiled a list of the best NYC bakeries / patisseries to visit as well (sad but true.) Oh I'm just so excited followers! I love it when a plan comes together :)

Saturday night's alright for...

..CHILLING. Hello followers :) I've had suuuuch a busy day again today but it's been fabbity fab. I wore my lovely new black ankle boots and got LOTS of compliments on them, and I earned myself a nice little bundle of commission. Then got home and had a lovely phone call from the boyf and I'm going to see him in two weeks. Lovely lovely stuff. Now I'm just chilling out with my sister having a glass of wine because its my day off tomorrow, so lie in time! I'm looking forward to next week because ITS MY BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY! YIPPYYYY! So excited.

TGIF!

Well, it's been a while since I've done a TGIF post, but I am SO glad it's Friday, because that means it's my day off! Hooray! Don't get me wrong, I love my new job but it's EXHAUSTING working such long days. I'm having a chill day today in my Spiderman hoodie and snuggly socks with a massive cup of tea and eating some of the treats my sister brought me back from America. I've just had a Lucky Charms marshmallow cereal bar, it was AMAZING. I've also put quite a bit of stuff on Ebay too, so that'll be some extra money for saving towards NYC :) Plus I'm going out tonight for dinner and drinks with all the Starbucks crew! (I'm an honorary Starbucker for the night.) So I'm really looking forward to that. We're all getting really dressed up which will be nice. It won't be a late one though because I've got a lonnnnng day at work tomorrow! 


Im off to paint my nails and finish my cuppa before deciding on what to wear tonight, yippyyyyy!

New Shoes

So, I was naughty today and bought myself two new pairs of shoes - one pair of cute suede ankle boots for work and another pair of slightly more fun ones to replace a pair that are practically falling apart but I cannot bear to part with them. I'll post a picture of the boots tomorrow but here are my suede pink brogues! I looooove them :)
