Mondays are the new Fridays

Hello followers, Happy Monday to you all!

Mondays have recently become my new favourite day. The last couple of weeks I've finished work early and just had some nice time catching up with homey things and getting into some new programmes on TV. The last few months have been so hectic and stressful it's just been nice to have some time to myself.

One programme I've been enjoying especially these last two weeks is Him & Her on BBC3. I've found it to be so true to life and cleverly written. Sometimes it's just like watching a video of a day in my life. I've found I can relate to almost everything it touches on and the characters are really believable and funny. I prefer shows which have only a couple of key characters and few other minor characters. I find it's quicker to establish relationships between characters if there are fewer of them, and its easier to derive humour from more concentrated relationships. Things like Peep Show and The Mighty Boosh have very few characters yet manage to achieve  comedy and a total watchability factor. Plus the episodes are only like twenty minutes long each so you find you're sometimes bargaining with yourself 'Just one more episode' and before you know it, hours have passed!

Anyway enough about my Monday. How was yours?
