Here's a video about gay rights which is something I feel very strongly about. It's shocking but maybe that's what people need. Some people are so narrow minded and ignorant (admittedly they are mostly American) and think that being gay is a choice. Of course it's not a choice! It's a part of who you are. I don't see why gay people can't get married. It's legal in England (well, civil partnership but not marriage in a church - and don't even get me started on that!) but in America it's illegal. I honestly don't understand why a government would deem it illegal for two people to confess their love for each other in front of their friends and family.
