Saturday was eventful, super busy day at work after a 7am start, followed by dashing to the station to meet my sister at 4pm. Then we popped to the shops to get some bits for tea and had lasagne with curly fries. Yum! Then we had a beer and chilled on the sofa before realising we had an hour before we needed to leave the house to get to the concert on time. So we rushed our little socks off and re-did our make up before hopping into a taxi.
The concert was doubly fab with knobs on! We heard lots of the old McFly classics like 'All about you,' '5 colours in her hair' and 'Star girl.' They also played some songs from the new album including the two most recent singles 'Party Girl' and 'Shine a Light,' both of which I like, but some of the new songs are a bit iffy. They're very Peter Andre sounding and not the Mcfly sound everyone loves! They were quite good though and I enjoyed hearing them live for the first time. I was also really glad they played my favourite ever song 'Too Close for Comfort' which was never released but is one of my favourite songs.
I also got approached by two girls who thought I was someone famous. Then when I looked completely baffled they got all embarrassed and said they liked my outfit. Haha! I wonder who it was they mistook me for?
They also sang a cover of Taio Cruz' song Dynamite which I was filming, then my phone broke half way through! So I had to endure the rest of the concert (and weekend) with no phone! But alas a new one is arriving tomorrow.
Then today (Sunday) was a chilling out day which began with bacon sandwiches and brown sauce! Then a trip into town with lots of things on the itinerary. Lunch at Nando's (I got treated by my sister which was nice!) then she also took me for a milkshake later on and we had a little look around the shops.
Lastly we came home, cracked open the wine and my friend Amanda came round to watch XFactor and now here we are! Desperate housewives is on next then it's off to bed for us. Hopefully next week will be just as nice as this week! (I'm going to Amanda's Halloween party, albeit with no costume. Maybe I'll just put a sheet over my head and go as a ghost!
Here are a couple of pictures from McFly lastnight, they're just the ones off my camera as the ones on my phone aren't accessible until tomorrow! Enjoy, and hope you all had a great weekend!
Until next time :)
You have lots of dressing up outfits haven't you...use one of those instead of being boring. Ruddy turtles or wonder woman would do!!
