Some of my favourite moments from 2010

My last post of 2010!

Well the time has come followers, for my last post of 2010. It hasn't been the best year but I have made some lovely friends and have accomplished a lot in terms of academic achievements as well as personal goals. I've not travelled as much as I'd have liked but hopefully 2011 will enable me to do so. Here's my review of my 2010!

The year kicked off at a family friends' B&B with poker, champagne and cigars! A lovely evening which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, but I was a bit worse for wear the next day at work! February was the month my sister and I went to see Lady Gaga in concert which was a fantastic show as well as a great night out. I spent Easter in Holland helping my Auntie prepare for moving to Cario and in June I flew out with my Mum to visit. We had a nice time but we were both ill so couldn't enjoy it as much as we could have. July was the month I started my new job where I met some lovely new friends and it was also the month I graduated from University - a proud day for all! August was a hectic month, moving into my new flat and working lots, followed by celebrating my 22nd birthday in September as well as my sisters 19th birthday and parents' 26th wedding anniversary. I spent the beginning of November at home (Hereford) and the rest of the month rather alone as my parents went on holiday to Australia. December has been super busy working lots but I managed to have a whole five days at home followed by this week at work and now here I am! Friends have come and gone, but the ones who matter have stayed. Some people have left my life and I've met many new ones, all of whom I absolutely adore.

I am hoping for a fantastic 2011 filled with laughs, travel, happiness and a big career move (fingers crossed.)
I wish you all everything you hope for, and a healthy and prosperous 2011.

Happy New Year,

F xo

Aa Very Merry Herry Christmas!

Hello followers, I'm back at home having a lovely time. Yesterday was a great day full of food, drink and presents. Will do a big post next week when I'm back in the North because right now I'm super busy catching up with everyone to do proper posts.

So until then, eat, drink and be merry! xo

He's coming home, he's coming home!

Relaxing Afternoon

Good afternoon! I've had a most relaxing time consisting of baking whilst listening to music and now I'm watching Friends on telly with a cup of tea. Talking of tea, here's a poem I wrote about tea two years ago. It was also read out at my degree show this summer. I got a laugh at the end. Yahoo.
Enjoy your Wednesday folks xo

Tea.
At first, single components
perched on the cold marble work surface
waiting to fulfil their ambition.
Bag. Milk. Water. Mug.

The angry kettle releases its seething vapour,
a droplet lingers on my nose as I gently pour.
Feeling the pressure lessen on my wrist
I dab my brow and relax as the water changes colour.

Extracting the bag with the steely spoon
I discard it and concentrate on the final stage.
The make or break of the sequence.
I unscrew the cap on the pearly bottle
and let the chilled fluid transfuse
for a moment before claiming it as my own.

I feel the terracotta warmth as I delicately sip
from my favourite, familiar mug.
As the bubbles pop, I peer into my mug of liquid brick.
Is that why they call it builders’ tea?

Day Off!

My last day off until Christmas day today my lovelies. Got lots to do. Going to finish my tea then go to town for a last little wander around the markets and get a few last minute bits. Luckily the snow is melting in Manchester so hopefully I won't be falling over the moment I step outside. These guys don't seem to mind being cold though...

Taylor Swift - Mean

Hello followers, been feeling a bit low lately. Listening to a lot of Taylor Swifts new album 'Speak Now' and finding that I can relate to a lot of the songs lately. Here's one in particular, it's called 'Mean.'

Mean
You, with your words like knives
And swords and weapons that you use against me,
You, have knocked me off my feet again,
Got me feeling like I’m nothing.
You, with your voice like nails on a chalkboard
Calling me out when I’m wounded.
You, pickin’ on the weaker man.

Well you can take me down,
With just one single blow.
But you don’t know, what you don’t know,

Someday, I’ll be living in a big old city,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Someday, I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Why you gotta be so mean?

You, with your switching sides,
And your walk by lies and your humiliation
You, have pointed out my flaws again,
As if I don’t already see them.
I walk with my head down,
Trying to block you out cause I’ll never impress you
I just wanna feel okay again.

I bet you got pushed around,
Somebody made you cold,
But the cycle ends right now,
You can’t lead me down that road,
You don’t know, what you don’t know

Someday, I’ll be, living in a big old city,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Someday, I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Why you gotta be so mean?

And I can see you years from now in a bar,
Talking over a football game,
With that same big loud opinion but,
Nobody’s listening,
Washed up and ranting about the same old bitter things,
Drunk and grumbling on about how I can’t sing.

But all you are is mean,
All you are is mean.
And a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life,
And mean, and mean, and mean, and mean

But someday, I’ll be, living in a big old city,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean. Yeah,
Someday, I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Why you gotta be so ?
Someday, I’ll be, living in a big old city,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean. Yeah,
Someday, I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit me,
And all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Why you gotta be so mean?

A poem for you

It's not very upbeat and was written about a collection of people I used to associate with who told lies. I submitted it a few years ago so it needs tweaking. (I promise a more lively post tomorrow.)

Falsifier

On this bitter black night I think of you
asleep in your bed of anguish and lies.
Your lack of conscience displeases me, and to my surprise
my anger holds me there in the moment, sticking my elbows to the windowpane and forcing me to remain there as if with cruel glue.
My head throbs with memories of your inflicted pain and the way you’d just smile to soothe me, and later on you’d do it again.
I still have the scars, in mind and skin
and I know that in this game, I’m never allowed to win.
I try to wrench myself free from the pane and pain, but it seems
that your overpowering force knows no bounds.
I spit out of the window, my face burning with tears and arms chafing the wooden frame. All I can taste are your falsehoods and cheats.
I spit again
and remembering the way my throat swelled and stung from battling and bickering.
I try to escape it even now. I open my mouth but my screams and pleas
still fall upon your ignorant ears. I stumble away from the window and gasp for breath. Still trapped in your maze of barbed wire.
You are nothing but a falsifier.

Foundation Review

As it's Winter I've decided to put away the tiny bit of fake tan I occasionally use and embrace my natural paleness. Plus fake tan only looks normal if it's hot and sunny outdoors which it certainly is not. But I've noticed that my normal foundation is looking a bit orange on my super pale skin. I find it really difficult to find foundation that suits me because not only am I incredibly pale but I also have combination skin so need a foundation that has a matte finish but also isn't too thick and cakey looking as it'll cause breakouts. In summer I usually just use my Mac Studio Finish concealer blended with some bronzer on my cheeks but Winter brings all sorts of skin problems so I need something slightly heavier but not too heavy.

As I currently work in House of Fraser it means I have access to all of the beauty counters so am going to try and test a few foundations until I find the one for me!

First I decided to try Creme De La Mer's 'The Treatment Fluid SPF15 Foundation.' Since this foundation costs £60 I thought best to take a mini pot home to sample before forking out for it. I'm glad I did because on the whole I found this foundation incredibly underwhelming. The product description says 'This silken, lightweight fluid has the power to transform the complexion.' Because it's so thin (almost watery) I found that I had to put a lot more of it on compared to the small amount I usually wear. It felt more like a moisturiser with a slight tint of colour added. It also has a slight shimmer to it, which I know irritates my skin on top of this.

Because I had to put of the product lot more on for a better coverage, it caused me to break out in a few spots. However, the best thing about this foundation was the colour, which matched my skin perfectly. Sadly it just isn't what I look for in a foundation. The coverage was far too light, the texture when it was on my skin was greasy and shiny, this caused me to put more powder on than usual to create a matte look.

All in all I'd give this product a 4/10, because it was a perfect colour match and lasted all day but just wasn't what I expected. I'm glad I got to try it for a few days first before paying the £60 price tag. Lucky for me it's saved me a bit of cash!

So I'm still on the hunt for the perfect foundation. Any suggestions?

Last Weekend

Here are a few photos from last weekend. I had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It put me into a great Christmassy mood and now I just can't wait to go home next week and be with my family all together. (I am aware that my fringe needs cutting in these pictures but never fear - I had it cut today.)

It's been a week!

Well, well it's been a week since I last posted. Sorry followers :( A lot has happened this week, mainly working every day then sadly yesterday I had to rush straight to the doctors as I burnt my leg quite badly. It's on the mend (fingers crossed) but the skin is quite damaged and blistered and is at risk of infection, so send out healing thoughts for me please!

Other than that, there has been some snow in Manchester which I'm not too happy about. Firstly because I have to walk to work every day in it with a bad leg, and secondly because it means Heathrow airport has been closed and flights cancelled when my Dad is due to fly home next Wednesday. Lets hope he makes it! So positive thoughts for that too please!

I wasn't grateful for anything this week I don't think. Friday was the day I injured my leg so I had a pretty rubbish day. Although saying that I have been very glad of my UGG earmuffs my Mum bought me as they've kept my ears toasty warm these last few days (especially now the snow has arrived!)

Happy thoughts, positivity & love to all. xo

TGIF

It's here, it's here! Friday is finally here followers. I'm back at work today but as soon as it's finished I'm off to the station to pick up my guests! I'm so excited.

Happy Friday & I hope you have a great weekend!

Thursday 9 December 2010

TGI...T?

I'm doing my TGIF a day early this week followers, because I can barely contain my excitement! Tomorrow is when I will have two very special visitors for the whole weekend and I've got so many fun activities planned I don't even know if I'll be able to squeeze it all into one weekend! I'm spending today cleaning, tidying, shopping and preparing for their arrival (all the while with Christmas songs playing in the background.) I'm feeling very festive and happy indeed!

What are you doing this weekend? xo

Wednesday 8 December 2010

What a week!

...and it's only Wednesday! Well friends, have I got some stories for you. One of which I can't talk about (that's the horrible story anyway) but I can tell you the two good ones! Great happening #1 -Today I got paid £10 by some market research ladies who wanted my opinions on the costs of living and the recession. I just answered some questions and gave my opinions on some new adverts (which they loved) and got £10 and a free cup of tea! Result!

Okay now for the other fab news. Yesterday afternoon I got talking to this lovely man called Ikram whilst I was at work. We talked about Dad's relationships with daughters and how Dad's can always be won over. He asked me what I do and I mentioned my writing and stories then said about how I'm waiting to hear about a job at BBC North. When he asked what department I said 'Hopefully children's.' He then told me that one of his good friends from University is actually involved with CBBC and is a director and producer. He actually then called her but she was at work so didn't answer. He gave me her contact details and said 'Message her and mention my name, she owes me a favour.' I honestly couldn't believe my luck followers! How kind for a stranger to just help me, I don't think he knows how much his simple act of kindness cheered me up!

I've send the lady a message and hope she replies. Even if she doesn't reply or there is nothing suitable for me in her department it was definitely worth a shot and I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain! It made me feel happy to think that after something really horrible and distressing happening last week, something lovely and kind happened to me this week. Restores my faith in humanity a little bit.

So now I'm just about to have a lovely cup of tea and wait for the reply. I'm so nervous!

Hope you're all having a great week! xo

Monday 6 December 2010

Couple of pictures from the Christmas party!

I didn't actually take that many but here are a couple of pictures from the Christmas party lastnight!

Saturday 4 December 2010

TGIS!

I have been a very naughty updater this week. So much has gone on and I've literally not had a spare minute to update! Been working lots with a bit of drama thrown in for good measure, but tomorrow night it's our work's Christmas party so we're all going to have some nice food and a really good time! (I'll post some pictures Monday night after work.) Going to try to not drink much though because I've got work 9-5 the next day so don't want to be ill!

As I missed my TGIF on Friday I'll do a TGIS instead! This week I am thankful more than anything for my hot water bottle Liam bought me for Christmas last year. It snowed this week and has been between minus 6 and minus 14 in Manchester this week so it has kept me toasty warm in bed through these super cold nights! Plus the heater in my bedroom is broken so it's been extra cold!

Hope your weekend is marvy fab xo

Worky Work Work

Working late nights will be the death of me. I've had some shreddies for tea, can't stomach hot food at night time. My Mum will be home in the morning so I can go back to ringing her ten times a day and talking about nothing which will cheer me up immensely.

Liam's down in London and started his new job today. He gets to work on Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part II so he's living the dream. Not long until I will be too if all goes to plan. Only two more months until January so keep everything crossed for me!

On this chilly night, here's something to cheer everyone up.
Nighty night! xo

The tree outside number four.

We always used to play
with the tree outside number four.
Spaceship, hideout, treasure chest, burial ground,
it was a different thing each day.

Once we had a race to see who could reach the top.
I was oldest and climbed the highest but then I got stuck and couldn’t get down
my dad had to fetch his ladder round
and even though I was being scorned I still pretended.
Pretended I was a princess being rescued and adorned.

Another time we discovered gold dust
hidden underneath the bark.
So we spent all day scraping away
putting the treasure into a dusty box.

The tulips which grew around the tree
befriending it in spring
were picked one day by my sister and me.
And after that the lady whose tree
it was ceased to let us play.

Ten years later the tree was uprooted
and the space was tarmacked over.
The scary old woman who always disputed
our childhood fun moved away too.
Probably to guard her tree.

Post-Weekend Slump

So the weekend's been and gone, now it's back to reality and back to work. My Mum's on her way back to the UK though which is DEFINITELY something to be looking forward to. This week doesn't hold much for me except working hard then day off Wednesday when I'm finally going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Really excited to see how they've done it and how it differs to the book, but before that it's 2 whole days of work so I better scoot and get dressed!

Have a great week! xo

Thursday 25 November 2010

TGIF

It's Friday! And this week I am thankful for central heating and the new series of Peepshow which starts tonight on channel 4! I'm beyond excited. Obviously the central heating has been keeping me warm in these below zero days and nights.

Hope everyone has a great Friday. I have the weekend off so expect some posts from me! xo

Nostalgic Thursday!

Today's Thursday and I'm feeling very nostalgic and Christmassy so here's some videos from a sing along video I used to have (I probably still have it, my Dad's just hidden it) and I used to watch it constantly. I found some of the videos on youtube and my sister and I have been watching them and reliving childhood memories. I just know when my Mum sees this she'll know exactly what I mean!

Here are a few of my favourites!
Happy Thursday xo

Wednesday 24 November 2010

I'm poorly!

How incredibly rubbish. Today was supposed to be a day of organising and tidying but I've got a horrible cold, so instead I've treated myself to a magazine and I'm going to read and watch movies all day. Is it too early to watch Elf? It always cheers me up no matter what, so I might have to watch it anyway :)

Monday 22 November 2010

Song of the week!

This week I can't stop listening to Taylor Swift's new album 'Speak Now.' I have about three favourite songs on it so far, one of which is her new single 'Mine.' I love that her songs are so simple and so easy to relate to. Every girls had boy or family troubles and she's such a sweet person in real life I just love her.

Enjoy 'Mine!' Here it is!

Monday (un)funday!

But I feel a poem will definitely brighten the mood on this miserable day!

The Story of Lady Grey

As Lady Grey looked out into the rain,
her own rain streaked her cheek.
Her perfect, peachy innocent face
was a mask to the world from the terror she hid.
Mr Grey said that she was to blame
for the unforgivable things he did.

I don’t see how after all these years
Lady Grey has never confessed
to the secrets she keeps, loathes and fears.
Silence she thinks is for the best.

But Mr Grey thinks it’s big to laugh to his friends
about the way he treats and beats his Lady.
The pain she endures, the blows he delivers,
the way she shudders when he draws near.
Lady Grey begs him and pleads him for her hurting to end
but remains to live her life in fear.

The smell of liquor on his breath
and the twisted way he snarled his lips filled Lady Grey with repulsion and hate.
At home he was a demon, cussing and shouting,
his whiskey sloshing in his glass like molten amber as he raised his arms
to Lady Grey who  prayed for death
and regretted how she’d fallen for his young, boyish charms.

After a while it wasn’t safe for Lady Grey to leave.
She remained in her room, bathing her wounds and occasionally played her piano.
One day when Mr Grey was out working at the bank
his wife sat writing to her sister Kitty and poured out her hearts woeful troubles.
She gave it to the butler, who posted it straight away then she told him not to bother her for the remainder of the day.

She fetched her husband’s whiskey and a bottle of sleeping pills,
washed down twenty tablets, retching at the taste but forcing them down nonetheless.
Once she felt dizzy, she lay between her silky sheets and closed her shell pink eyelids.
She thought of running though fields lilac and lavender, fingers outstretched, finally free.
Lady Grey took one last breath and smiled, finally laying herself to rest.

TGIF

This week followers, I am most grateful for friends and food! I had a fantastic time at the Manchester Christmas Markets lastnight with two of my friends. We ate a lot of food. I found it so difficult choosing which stall I wanted to buy food from I decided to have a little sample at all of them. We had Spanish Paella at the Spanish stall in the European Market which I'm sad to say was no where near as good as my Dad's paella - we're not even Spanish and my Dad's version uses more spices and flavours. It was still nice to experience though. We also had German Apfelwein and Gluhwein which was DELICIOUS, albeit very boozy, then we headed over to the macaroon stall and had hot macaroons which had this amazing chewy topping, then to finish mini Dutch pancakes with golden syrup and powdered sugar. I was so full from eating everything I was in bed by 9.30pm, I couldn't keep my eyes open! Personally I think it was the Gluhwein. They have a variety of different flavours. I think next I'm going to try Kirschewein (that's cherry for all you non-German speakers out there.)

The markets get better every year and 2010 is no exception. I'm really excited now for when my family visit, I've planned all the food and drink we're going to sample and it's going to be GREAT.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! xo

Music to my ears

Really loving this version of a classic song. Ellie Goulding went to my school and my college. Some of the scenes from this video are from my home town. How cool!
Enjoy! xo

I love Michelle Phan!

Last year I discovered the genius make up guru that is Michelle Phan. She started off just filming make up tutorials from her living room using only a mirror and her digital camcorder. Since then she's become a professional make up artist, working at New York Fashion Week, is the digital guru and official web tutorial maker for Lancome and has over a million subscribers to her youtube channel. She has loads of really amazing videos, ranging from scary halloween looks, to how to make your own sugar scrub. They are truly inspiring and I've found some of them particuarly useful, especially when deciding on make up for a night out. She's also encouraged me to use make up brushes more and has great tips on how to apply certain products. Her voice is also really calming and soothing so sometimes I just watch her videos to chill out. Haha!

Anyway, here are a few of my favourite Michelle Phan videos for you! Enjoy xo

It's that time of year...

...when the red cups are in town. I'm off to enjoy one of these Christmas lovelies and get a bit of inspiration on my day off. Who knows who I might bump into!

You need these in your life

Hello! Happy Wednesday to all. I have something to share with you (girls only.) The last couple of months I've been totally addicted to the MUA (Make Up Academy) range at Superdrug. All of the essentials are just £1 each. What a bargain! Anyone who knows we will know, I am a total make up junkie. Sadly I find it difficult finding products which suit me because not only am I ridiculously pale but have sensitive eyes and mouth, with a tendancy to break out. So on the whole it's really hard finding products which don't irritate my skin / eyes.

I generally only use products by MAC, YSL, Chanel & sometimes Dior. Not because of the label, put purely because the products are gentle and hypo-allergenic. HOWEVER. I've used the MUA face powder, lipsticks, nail varnish and eye liner and not had a single breakout. On the whole, if you pay £1 for a lipstick you expect it to smell funny, be rubbish quality, slippy, not to last very long, but I've been wearing MUA Shade 2 lipstick since 8.30am and I've not had to reapply a single time. It really is good value for money.

I'm also currently wearing their Rusty nail varnish which hasn't chipped at all in three days. The consistency of the nail varnish itself is also great. Sometimes I buy them and it takes three or four coats just to get a decent finish but with the MUA stuff it's just two coats, a top coat and you're ready to go.

The face powders and blushers are also excellent quality. I have all four shades of blusher which vary in colour from baby pink to rouge, and the face powder is not only pale enough for my skin (yippy) but it's not cakey at all and goes on evenly giving a subtle, matte finish.

All of the MUA products are available to buy online now, so if you're short of cash this month or even need some stocking fillers for your friends Christmas presents, head down to Superdrug and check out the MUA stand. There's normally just a little secton of it, obviously some Superdrug stores will have more of a variety than others, or you can always buy online at http://www.superdrug.com/page/muamakeupacademy

Good Luck! xo

Monday 15 November 2010

It's a new week!

I've been very good this weekend - all of my Christmas shopping is done! (More or less.) I've only got two or three more things to buy, but can't do that until payday in 2 weeks. Paid a load of boring, rubbish bills so now my bank account is super depressing. HOWEVER, back to work after a weekend off and I've got my new black dress on and feeling good. Might buy myself a scratch card as I dreamt last night I won £130 on one. So who knows?

Have a great Monday all! xo

Saturday 13 November 2010

Weekend off!

And I'm by myself. After a bad start to Friday I've cheered up a bit. Managed to get a bit of Christmas shopping done in Bolton which was nice (I don't enter Manchester on a Saturday, it's farrrr too busy!) Missing my Mum & Dad loads and they've only been gone for 12 hours.

I bought my sisters Christmas present, some new leggings for work and even ordered myself a lovely wine coloured blouse to wear on Christmas day as my Mum left a 25% off Dorothy Perkins voucher. Wahoo!

Just chilling out now with a glass of wine watching Merlin on telly. I do love a bit of Merlin. We started watching it three years ago when it first came on telly when I was at University. A group of us would make some nice bolognaise for tea and all watch it together.

Anyway more about my weekend tomorrow when I'll be spending the day with Amanda.

Peace and Love xo

TGIF

One day late d'oh! Had work all day yesterday then didn't come home until 9pm and was too tired to post when I got in. This week I am grateful for friends. We went to see the Christmas lights switch on in Manchester. There were 20,000 people there! How crazy! But after watching Joe McElderry, The Drifters, Corrie stars, Peter Beale from Eastenders and the ZingZillas all perform, we all huddled together and watched the fireworks display which was fantastic. Plus they played Florence & The Machine really loud as they were going off so everyone was singing along. Great way to spend a friday night with friends, and best of all it was free! Perfecto!

Wednesday 10 November 2010

Finally got a day off!

How exciting! Shame I'm spending most of it cleaning and tidying ready for Friday when Liam gets here. Then I'm popping to town later because I need to buy some new work clothes for winter. GROAN. Normally this would excite me but I can only buy black things (uber depressing.)

Lets brighten the mood with a poem shall we?

Eeylop’s Owl Emporium

(Title taken from J.K. Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.’)

If you push the worn wooden door into Eeylop’s Owl Emporium
sawdust and feathers will greet you.
The musty warmth will soon clear as vast wings will stretch like dustsheets being unfolded.
Black and inquisitive eyes peer into yours
and they’ll follow you as you inch quietly around
trying to avoid those judgemental gazes.

The background twittering feels like school.
But when you turn to face them, silence.
Heads cocked to one side, it’s like they’re reading your mind
amongst that awkward ambience.

Eeylop hobbles around breaking the tension, muttering gruffly to each in turn.
He pokes his fingers which are twisted and knowledgeable
through the mesh cage to caress the feathers
of the Tawny who looks wise and stern.

The owl will close his eyes and tilt his head, apparently calm.
Eeylop whispers a soothing, songlike sound.
Tawny hoots softly and his large, almond eyes will reopen
and search for a treat in Eeylops palm.

Monday 8 November 2010

It's a new week

So far it's been a very tiring week, and it's only Monday! :( I'm working loads and loads this week but it will be alright on Friday evening because Liams coming to visit for a long weekend and keep me company. Hurrah! We don't have any money to be doing anything nice but we're going to see the fireworks and christmas lights switch on Friday night with some friends, (possibly with a gingerbread latte thrown in)  followed by a day of watching High School Musical 1, 2 & 3 on Saturday! Who says having no money has to be boring? We may even get fish and chips seeing as how I've discovered the ONLY chippie in Manchester recently but am yet to try it.

Will post some more news in a few hours after tea.
What are you doing this week?

Love & peace to all!

Friday 5 November 2010

TGIF!

This week followers, I am grateful for the gift of psychic ability. I got a message lastnight while at a spiritual clairvoyance evening which was a bit emotional but hopefully is a sign of good things to come. But who knows?

Also had a few freaky-deaky experiences while back at my Hereford home - one of the bedroom doors kept rattling while I was trying to get to sleep, lights being turned on when we returned to an empty house, seeing dark shadowy figures standing in my bedroom. We are most definitely not alone which is quite comforting to me seeing as how I always get really lonely the day I'm dropped off back in Manchester or whenever my visitors go home.

Thursday 4 November 2010

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my Dad's birthday (no, really.) So I'm wishing him a day of happiness and joy!

Wednesday 3 November 2010

I am home!

Well, Hereford home, not Manchester home. And today is my Mum's birthday so we're off to do lots of celebrating. Happy Birthday Mummy!
