Bakerella Lemon Bars

So this morning I had a little bake-a-thon whilst listening to Harry Potter audiobooks, (Chamber of Secrets to be exact.) I made walnut and white chocolate blondies (like a brownie, but using white chocolate) and lemon bars courtesy of Bakerella. I must say, they were a bit of a faff but they are YUM. Unfortunately my blondie pictures didn't come out so well but I can assure you they are deeeelicious. Anyway, check out my lemon bars! Crunchy crust underneath with ooey-gooey lemony goodness in the middle. Perfecto!

Teenage Dream

My Katy Perry OPI nail polishes arrived today, hooray! It took me about half an hour to decide which one to use first but I opted for the original 'Teenage Dream.' 

I was torn between that and 'Last Friday Night' what with it being Friday and all, but I can always do that one next Friday because I'm off work, woohoo! At least when I'm at work all day tomorrow I'll have beautiful nails. Photo's don't even do this nail polish justice - it's just so pretty! I put a metallic rose pink one from No 7 at Boots underneath then two layers of Teenage Dream. And it really is a dreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaammmm! Rounded off my Friday night perfectly. Well, that and the massive Sailor Jerry's in my hand. :)

It's Friiiiiiday!

And what a busy old week it's been! My store manager has been on holiday this week so I've been running the shop by myself. Tiring to say the least but a good learning curve (and fun.) Just hope she doesn't think I've run it into the ground and cocked everything up haha. Looking forward to Sunday because I get to see two of my bestie pals as well as returning to my favourite place (Manchester of course) for a nice little shopping day. Then next week is a two day week and I've filled a few days off with lots of catching up, curry night, days out, horse riding and lots more. It's all go go go. Talking of going, I'd better get to work!
