TGIF

Happy Friday everyone! I wish I was at London fashion week today instead of going to work but there we go. Maybe next year I'll be there!

EXCITEMENT

I am VERY excited for my bestie ever Spence to return to the north this weekend. So here is a little gallery of us having good times, which will hopefully turn into many more!

A stroke of genius (maybe)

I've had this idea. Gonna pitch it to Penguin.

Watch this blogspace.

In the meantime, here is a picture of me with a latte. Enjoy!

Mondays are the new Fridays

Hello followers, Happy Monday to you all!

Mondays have recently become my new favourite day. The last couple of weeks I've finished work early and just had some nice time catching up with homey things and getting into some new programmes on TV. The last few months have been so hectic and stressful it's just been nice to have some time to myself.

One programme I've been enjoying especially these last two weeks is Him & Her on BBC3. I've found it to be so true to life and cleverly written. Sometimes it's just like watching a video of a day in my life. I've found I can relate to almost everything it touches on and the characters are really believable and funny. I prefer shows which have only a couple of key characters and few other minor characters. I find it's quicker to establish relationships between characters if there are fewer of them, and its easier to derive humour from more concentrated relationships. Things like Peep Show and The Mighty Boosh have very few characters yet manage to achieve  comedy and a total watchability factor. Plus the episodes are only like twenty minutes long each so you find you're sometimes bargaining with yourself 'Just one more episode' and before you know it, hours have passed!

Anyway enough about my Monday. How was yours?

TGIF

Oh my little Rebekah Spencer you are such a funny little onion. Only not as flaky or hairy.

Well today is Friday and what can I say? It has been a whirlwind of a little old week. Returned to work after the incident which we no longer speak of, and now I'm off again with painkillers and smelly old neck ache.

I love how you can have so many rubbish and bad things happen in one week, or just have a week of feeling down and hopeless then something utterly fab and unexpected happens after you forget about it and builds you right back up. This happened to me yesterday and all I can say is that I am VAIR excited about the next six or so months and what they have in store for me.

I've also been sending lots of work off to magazines lately which is also very exciting. It's surprising how many fashion writers are wanted in Manchester. I am by no means a 'fashion writer' but it's something I enjoy and appreciate, so why shouldn't I write about it?

I feel like doing another post with a picture, so will end on a comical note.

There was once a man who sent twenty different puns to his friends, with the hope that at least ten of the puns would make them laugh.
No pun in ten did

Tally-ho!

An Introduction

Wowza... my first post! Better make it interesting.

Incase you don't know me already (that sentence seems pretty pointless as all of my current followers are people I know,) my name is Francesca Price and I like to write. I also like not acting my age, christmas, rum and books.

As this is my first post I'll keep it short and interesting. Lets break the ice with some jokes?

Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly. They lit a fire in the craft, it sank, proving once and for all that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

I went to a seafood disco last week, and pulled a muscle.

I got complimented on my driving today, they left a lovely little note on my windscreen saying 'Parking Fine.' That was nice.

Until tomorrow petis pois!
